CMON to hand The Adventurers to Top Games, which will fund the rest of fulfilment
Why this matters: our read
A risk transfer: finishing the campaign becomes Top Games cost, and ownership follows if the deal closes. Stores and backers should watch fulfilment regions still listed as under review, not CMON cash raise alone.
CMON and manufacturing partner Top Games told backers on September 28, 2026 that Top Games will cover all remaining production and fulfilment costs for The Adventurers. In return, subject to completion of the transaction, Top Games will assume ownership of the game. CMON will remain involved through fulfilment, handling pledges, address changes and logistics. Product issues and after-sales support go to Top Games.
The joint update says manufacturing is complete. Finished copies are packed at the factory and ready to ship. Fulfilment partners for the United States, European Union, United Kingdom and Canada are confirmed. Ocean freight for those regions was targeted to begin before the end of September. Top Games said it was still reviewing shipping arrangements for other regions and aimed to have those shipments loaded by the end of October.
Top Games will fully fund the remaining production and fulfillment of the campaign
BoardGameWire reports CMON lost close to $23 million across 2024 and 2025 and entered August 2026 with $368,000 in cash. The company completed a $19 million capital raise in September. The joint update does not give financial terms for the Top Games arrangement.
